Fried chicken consists of pieces of chicken that have been either battered or floured and then pan fried, pressure fried or deep fried. The breading adds a crisper crust to chickens' exterior. The chicken is cut at the joints with the bones and skin being left intact. Some fast food restaurant chains serve fried chicken, most notably Kentucky Fried Chicken, Popeyes and Church's Chicken.
The term fried chicken was first used in the 1830s.

Scottish people were the first European people who were frying chicken, although it was not seasoned or battered. People in West Africa were the ones who seasoned it. However, the first dish which was deep fried was fritters. Fritters were popular during the Middle Ages.

Ingredients
7-10 whole chicken wings
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 egg (beaten)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons flour
oil (for frying)

Instructions:
1.Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix
everything until the wings are well-coated.
2.Let the wings marinate for 2 hours at room temperature or in the
refrigerator overnight for best results.
3.After marinating, if it looks like there is liquid in the wings, be
sure to mix them thoroughly again. The wings should be well
coated with a thin batter-like coating. If it still looks too watery,
add a bit more cornstarch and flour.
4.Fill a medium pot about 2/3 of the way up with oil, and heat it to
350 degrees.
5.Fry the wings in small batches for 7 minutes and remove to a
cooling rack or sheet pan lined with paper towels. After all of the
wings are fried, return them in batches to the oil and fry again for
4-7 minutes.

Place the wings on paper towels or a cooling rack, and serve with hot sauce or homemade mumbo sauce!

Here my version of Crispy Fried Chicken. Made with only basic ingredients. Like Salt and Pepper, Flour, and Oil for frying.

Ingredients
1 kg chicken
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 kg flour
Oil for frying

Procedures
Marinate chicken for 4 hours with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper
Mix flour with 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp pepper
Heat oil at 350F
Fry chicken for 13 hours

How to cook: Whole Deep-fried Chicken

Ingredients:

1 whole chicken
1 cup of sweet basil
5 pcs. dried laurel leaf
Salt and pepper
1 liter of cooking oil
-----------------------------------------------
Instructions:

Put salt, pepper, laurel and basil together with 1 liter of water on bottom part of steamer.
Place chicken on top part of steamer.
Steam chicken until cooked.
On separate pot, heat 1 liter of oil.
Fry chicken until golden brown.
