Cheese used- medium sharp cheddar, gruyere, smoked cheddar, monterey jack

Sweet n Sour onions-
3 tablespoons (42g) oil or butter
1 sweet onion
3.5 tbsp (50ml) balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon (5g) Honey

Vegetarian filling-
2 tablespoons olive oil
6 sliced trumpet mushrooms
salt to taste
1 shallot
1 zucchini
1 red Fresno chili

I went to Walmart and Whole Foods to do a huge review of tortillas and tortilla chips. We talk about wraps, low carb tortillas, grain free and paleo chips and wrap, tortilla chips, taco shells, and more! There are so many tortilla options at the store, but once you learn to read the labels, you can identify the good from the bad immediately. I look for two things in tortillas, what type of oil they cook them in, and is the corn non-GMO. Here is a meal prep spin on some chicken fajitas! This Slow Cooked Chick Fajitas recipe is quick, delicious, and a great way to get some healthy fats, complex cabs, fiber, and protein in!

Here is the recipe:

15 Ounces (425g) Reduced Sodium Black Beans (or Dark Red Kidney Beans)
2 Teaspoons Lime Juice
16 Ounces Salsa
14.5 Ounces (411g) No Salt Added Diced Tomatoes
2 1/2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic (or 5 Cloves Garlic)
1 Packet (1.12 Ounces/31g) Low Sodium Fajita Seasoning Mix
1/2 Cup Red Onion
1/2 Cup Green Pepper
1/2 Cup Yellow Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
3 Pounds (48 Ounces) Chicken Breast

Calories in the WHOLE recipe:

Calories: 2256
Fat: 32g
Saturated Fat: 0g
Sodium: 3930mg
Carbs: 174g
Fiber: 41g
Sugar: 51g
Protein: 318g

Calories in each bowl (if you make 5):

Calories: 451
Fat: 6.4g
Saturated Fat: 0g
Sodium: 986mg
Carbs: 34.8g
Fiber: 8.2g

Drain and rinse your Black Beans. Chop up your Red Onion, Green Pepper, and Yellow Pepper. Trim the fat off of and cut your Chicken Breast in half. Add all of your ingredients into your slow cooker. Mix everything around. Turn your slow cooker on High for 3-4 hours or Low for 5-6 hours. Mouthgasm!

Tips: Use whatever flavor or heat salsa you want!

Shred your chicken with 1 hour of cooking time left by using two forks and pull apart!

As most of you already know my local Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar General or Walmart stores are my own personal adult playgrounds. I shop at these stores to find food that is generally highly processed, full of fillers and simply bad for us to eat regularly! Meat, vegetables, canned food, frozen food, refrigerated food, boxed food, vegan food, vegetarian food and all sorts of prepared foods, if it's cheap and questionable I will do a taste test and food review on it! I also show you these foods are no bargain like these discount stores and manufacturers lead you to believe. I do this to show you that fresh foods are not only healthier, but they're also cheaper than these so called bargain foods. So far I haven't gotten sick, but some of these foods are certainly questionable and have come close to making me sick.

STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE (makes 1)
1 medium banana
1 cup fresh strawberries
1 cup chopped zucchini
2 cups baby kale/spinach
2 tablespoons hemp seeds

Add all ingredient into a small plastic bag and freeze. When ready to make, blend with 1 - 2 cups milk of choice!

CARROT-APPLE CHIA PUDDING (makes 1)
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup grated carrot
1 tablespoon grated apple (or applesauce)
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups milk of choice

Add all ingredients to a mason jar. Stir and shake until evenly combined. Place in fridge and let sit for at least 60 minutes, up to 4 days.

EPIC STEAK FAJITA PASTA | THE GOLDEN BALANCE

This is one of my favorite pastas all time. The flavors are actually insane. This is definitely hearty and dense pasta so proceed with caution.

Ingredients:

1-2 Pounds of your preferred meat
Spice mix:
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp cumin
Apply the seasoning mix accordingly, I used half of it.

16 oz pasta
12-14 oz heavy cream
4 oz muenster cheese
4 oz fontina cheese
3 strips beef bacon
3 sun dried tomatoes
3 Calabrian chilis
4-6 cloves of garlic
1 bell pepper or a couple sweet peppers
1 jalapeno
1 shallot or half an onion
Pasta water accordingly, I used around half a cup
