How To: Garlic Butter Salmon Foil Pack | June Oven | My Gadget Kitchen | #201

Ingredients:
Salmon (I used about 3.5 lbs to have enough for leftovers, feel free to use less)
To taste: kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, granulated garlic, granulated onion, Old Bay Seasoning, paprika
For the sauce:
4-8 tbsp butter, melted (depends on how much salmon you have, I used 8 tbsp)
8-10 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp each: oregano, thyme and rosemary
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
*let sauce simmer on med low for about 5 minutes before pouring over salmon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Season salmon, place in foiled lined pan sprayed with nonstick spray. Make butter sauce and pour over salmon. Seal foil packet and bake for 15-20min. Uncover and broil for 2 min. (optional)

Get out of the drive thru and get into the kitchen.

SALMON AND ASPARAGUS FOIL PACKETS | SALMON IN GARLIC LEMON BUTTER FOIL PACKETS

These individual foil packets are filled salmon fillets and asparagus then baked in a rich garlic lemon butter. My kids and hubby really loved this one! This recipe is sooo easy and is now one of my favorite go-to recipes when I don’t feel like cooking!????

Salmon and Asparagus Foil packets

Ingredients
1 1/2 -2 lbs salmon fillet, cut into 4 pieces
Juice of 1-2 lemons
4 garlic cloves, minced
8 tablespoons butter (1 stick)
1 asparagus bunch, ends trimmed

Directions
Preheat oven to 425°.
Lay four pieces of foil on the table. Place salmon skin side up on the center of the foil.
Place asparagus next to the salmon. Season well with salt and pepper. Turn over salmon and season the other side as well as asparagus.
Squeeze lemon juice over salmon (I used 1 lemon) and sprinkle over minced garlic. Top salmon and asparagus with 1 tablespoon of butter each.
Seal foil packets rolling up the center first and then the sides. Make sure not to wrap too tight, leaving space inside.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 11 to 12 minutes, or until salmon is just cooked through (depending on thickness). Serve with extra lemon wedges.

Ingredients:
1 Salmon
1 Lemon - thinly sliced
200g Asparagus - hard end remove
1 tbsp Butter
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
1/8 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
Instructions:
Melt Butter: In a small bowl, microwave butter, oregano and garlic powder. Set aside.
Wrap Salmon in Foil: Arrange 3 slices of lemon in the middle of aluminum foil. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the Salmon. Lay the Salmon on top of the lemon, sprinkle brown sugar and arrange the Asparagus on both sides. Pour melted butter and more slices of lemon on top. Wrap the Salmon with the foil, making sure to seal the ends to avoid the juice from coming  out.
Bake or grill at 350F for 20 - 25 minutes. Make sure to check if the Salmon is cook through, baking time depends on the size and thickness of the Salmon.
Serve: Squeeze lemon juice and pour balsamic vinegar on top.

1️⃣ 00:19 - Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a 4 sided baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place the salmon in the middle of the foil.

2️⃣ 01:04 - In a glass measuring cup, combine melted butter, lemon juice, garlic, and dill. Whisk together.

3️⃣ 01:59 - Pour butter mixture directly over salmon. Pull the sides and ends of the aluminum foil up and pinch together, covering the salmon completely.

If you haven’t tried baking salmon in a foil packet, you’ve been missing out on one of the easiest ways to get flavorful baked salmon that’s NEVER dry! This recipe bakes salmon, asparagus and lemon together for dinner in a packet. And for those of you on Weight Watchers, this dinner is 0 Weight Watchers Freestyle Points!

We eat ours with fresh or frozen fruit for dessert, which makes a complete meal for us. But you can also pair it with a whole grain like, brown rice or quinoa, a side salad, or eat two servings if you need a larger portion.

1 teaspoon coarse sea salt

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 450 degrees F, then snap the ends off asparagus spears and divide into 4 equal portions. Make sure to save your ends for Asparagus End Soup.


2️⃣ Sprinkle the salmon and asparagus with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.


3️⃣ Place one salmon fillet in the center of each sheet, skin side down.


4️⃣ Top with a serving of the asparagus and drizzle with a little lemon juice, then top with a thin slice of lemon.


5️⃣ Bring up the sides of foil and fold the top over, then seal the ends of the foil, leaving room for air to circulate inside the packet.


6️⃣ Place packets on a cookie sheet and cook in oven for 15 minutes or until salmon is opaque.

Do you have those days where you don’t mind cooking but more than anything you just don’t want to clean up the mess? I have them all the time, dishes are never ending around here. So, when there’s an easy recipe out there that requires minimal prep and clean up I’m all over it!

This salmon really couldn’t get any easier and the method of cooking it all together in a foil pouch seals in moisture and keeps the flavors intact. It’s also a very versatile recipe, you can use other types of veggies (like zucchini, spinach, tomatoes, bell pepper) and herbs or you could even add in some honey or parmesan. I love how fool proof this recipe is, even if you have minimal experience in the kitchen you can easily make this salmon!

Ingredients
4 (6 oz) skinless salmon fillets
1 lb asparagus, tough ends trimmed
2 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 lemon thinly sliced
Fresh dill sprigs, or chopped fresh thyme, rosemary or parsley

EASY Salmon Dinner with Jasmine Herbed Rice & Sauteed Garlic Asparagus HOW TO COOK: Salmon Dinner

Hey ya'll check out this quick and easy salmon dinner recipe:

Rice:
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley
3-5 sprigs of thyme
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups chicken stock (veg stock or water okay to substitute)
2 cups rice
2 tbs butter

Bring water and stock to boil with seasonings and butter. Add rice and stir. Cover and reduce heat too low. Cook for 15-18 minutes until all liquid is absorbed. Stir to remove thyme leaves from stems, then remove stems from rice.

Asparagus:

1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 1/2 tbs minced garlic
1 1/2 tbs fresh lemon juice
1 tbs olive oil

Trim ends of asparagus and wash well. Add asparagus to boiling water for 3 minutes. Remove asparagus from boiling water into ice bath for 1 minute. Heat up oil in pan with minced garlic until garlic turned slightly brown. Add asparagus to pan with seasonings and lemon juice. Sautee for 2-3 minutes.

Salmon:

1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp dried parsley
1 tbs olive oil
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbs soy sauce

Add seasonings to salmon. Place salmon in bowl and add oil and soy sauce. Marinade for 10-30 minutes. Heat oil in pan. Add salmon to pan skin side down. Cook for 4 minutes on medium heat. Turn salmon over and cook for 4 additional minutes. Turn salmon to sides an cook for 1 minute each.

• 1 salmon filet
• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
• 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced.

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2️⃣ 00:01:31 - Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray. Place the salmon filet onto the prepared baking sheet.

3️⃣ 00:00:15 - In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, basil, oregano, and pepper. Pour directly over salmon and spread to cover. Place lemon slices on top.

4️⃣ 00:02:09 - Pull the sides and ends of the aluminum foil up and pinch together, covering the salmon completely.

5️⃣ 00:02:16 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley just before serving.
