I’ve shared a ton of different cakes over the years, but all of them use dairy! This is the only recipe I’ve ever I’ve ever shared that is vegan! No eggs, no butter, no buttermilk!! It uses vegetable oil in place of the butter, and almond milk in place of the buttermilk. I really love this recipe because it’s straight forward, doesn’t include any scary ingredients, and most importantly, it tastes great!

How To Make a Vegan Cake

Today I show you how to make a delicious vegan chocolate cake. You won't believe this cake is vegan! It tastes and looks identical to a normal chocolate cake, except it's way healthier and doesn't contain a single trace of any animal products. It's quick & easy to make, no previous experience necessary. Think vegan food isn't tasty? Think again.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups (360 ml) original unsweetened Almond Breeze Almond Milk
2 tsp white or apple cider vinegar
1 1/4 cups (307 g) unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup (120 ml) strong brewed coffee (or sub more almond milk)
2/3 cup (160 ml) melted coconut oil, or sub grape seed or canola oil
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups + 2 Tbsp (320 g) whole-wheat pastry flour or unbleached all-purpose flour
1 1/3 cups (266 g) organic cane sugar (or sub granulated sugar)
1 cup (96 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt

Best Vegan Chocolate Cake

Here is my take on Vegan Chocolate Cake and this according to me is the best vegan cake recipe you'll ever need. Its rich, moist, chocolaty and super delicious. Try it even if you are not a vegan!

IMP NOTE: I forgot to show when I added the Vinegar and the Vanilla.
Add it along with the wet ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

Vegan Chocolate Cake:

200 grams ( 1.5 cup ) All purpose Flour
28 grams ( 1/4 cup ) Cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
200 grams ( 1 cup) Granulated Sugar
120 ml ( 1/2 cup ) Vegetable oil
240 ml ( 1 cup) Boiling water
1 tsp Instant Coffee Powder
1 tbsp White Vinegar
1tsp Vanila Extract

IMP NOTE: I forgot to show when I added the Vinegar and the Vanilla.
Add it along with the wet ingredients.

Vegan Chocolate Ganache:

250 grams Chopped Chocolate
180ml (3/4 cup) Coconut Cream

Garnish

Strawberries
Melted Chocolate
Sprinkles

Vegan Chocolate Cake - No Butter, No Egg Cake Recipe - My Recipe Book By Tarika Singh

Learn how to make Vegan Chocolate Cake at home that's absolutely butter free and egg free and yet tastes divine.

Food blogger Tarika Singh brings you a vegan chocolate cake recipe that's extremely simple and easy to put together. This cake isn't too sweet on its own, so the dark chocolate glaze over it, sweetened with icing sugar hits just the right sweet notes.

Ingredients:

For the cake:
1 cup warm water (lukewarm, not boiling)
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (extra for dusting pan)
1 1/2 cups (180 grams) all-purpose flour
1 cup caster sugar (160 grams)
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup canola oil (or any other neutral-flavored oil, plus extra for greasing pan)
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp. white vinegar

For the glaze:
50 grams dark chocolate chopped
1/3 cup icing sugar, sifted
2 Tablespoons water

Method:

To make the cake:
- Pre-heat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
- Use an 8-inch, removable bottom pan and line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper.
- Lightly brush the pan and parchment paper with oil & dust with cocoa powder.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder & lukewarm water, making sure that there are no lumps left and set aside.
- In a large pan, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda & salt.
- Make a well in the centre of these dry ingredients and add the cocoa-water mixture, oil & vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth. Add the vinegar & whisk.
- Transfer the batter to prepared cake pan & bake for about 30 to 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean.
- Once baked, place the pan on a wire rack to cool for 20 minutes.
- Run a knife around the sides of the pan before loosening the sides of the pan.
- Open up the cake pan and gently place the cake on a wire rack to cool completely.

To make the chocolate glaze:
- Melt the chocolate either in a double boiler or in the microwave. - Allow it to cool slightly and then whisk in the water & sifted icing sugar.
- Once this mixture takes on a spreadable consistency, pour it over the centre of the cooled cake.
- Use an offset spatula to spread the glaze evenly over the top and sides of the cake.

It's my birthday and I made myself the best vegan birthday cake ever! Best part is... it only have 3 ingredients! 😱 Did you know that you can use boxed cake mix to make boxed cake mix cookies, 2 ingredient muffins and also a 2 ingredients vegan cake?!

I decided to make a video showing you how to make a cake so you can pamper yourself, because we don't need no man to do that for us 💁‍♀️ Here are my 3 easy vegan cake mix hacks for your pleasure! 😘

🍰Orange Creamsicle Cake Recipe:

Pumpkin Spice Muffins
Spice Cake Mix + Pumpkin Puree
1 boxed Spice Cake or Yellow Cake mix
1-15oz can of pure pumpkin puree (make sure it’s not pumpkin pie filling)

Position the rack in the center of the oven and preheat your oven to 350F.
Grease and line a muffin tin. Set aside.
Using a bowl with a hand mixer, or a stand mixer; mix together the boxed cake mix and the pumpkin puree.
Divide the batter evenly between each cupcake liner and bake for 15-18 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Remove the muffins and place on a wire rack to cool.

Chocolate PB Cookies
1 boxed Devil’s Food Cake Mix
¾ cup crunchy peanut butter
3 tbsp whipped aquafaba
2 Tbsp coconut yogurt
1 cup dairy-free chocolate candies

Position the rack in the center of the oven and preheat your oven to 350F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment for a silicone baking mat.

Using a bowl with a hand mixer, or a stand mixer; mix together the boxed cake mix , peanut butter, aquafaba and coconut yogurt until well combined.
Stir in candy of choice.
Using a tablespoon, place scoops of dough onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets. Remove to cooling racks.

1 cup non-dairy milk
2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (

Delicious Vegan Coconut Lime Cake


Full Vegan Icing Recipe -
Ingredients Used:
-Room temperature Vegan Butter
-Vegetable Shortening
-Vanilla Extract
-Butter Flavour
-water
-Icing Sugar
-Salt
Icing is simple. All you need is 1 cup of fat, to 4 cups of icing sugar and whatever flavouring you like. I tried multiple combinations of different ingredients, and came up with the perfect recipe for Vegan Icing. However, since the science of an icing recipe is so simple you can change up this recipe how you like. I like the flavour and consistency of Earth Balance Vegan butter, but if you prefer you can make your own from scratch to avoid palm oil and preservatives.
As for the flavour of buttercream... don't get me started! This is a base recipe for vanilla icing, but you can transform it into endless combinations of flavours.
You want to start off by creaming together your shortening and vegan butter on medium speed for 2min. Add in your salt, vanilla, and butter flavour and mix until incorporated. Add in half of the icing sugar and 1 tsp of water. Mix on low speed until combined, then mix on high speed for 2 min. Add in remaining icing sugar and 1 tsp of water, mix on low speed until combined, then mix on high speed for 3 min. If icing seems too stiff add additional water.
*Water should be adjusted according to climate. If there is a lot of humidity in the air only add in 2 tsp of water. If you are making icing in the winter and it is very cold, you might need to add in all 4 tsp. of water to achieve the desired consistency.
Store in air tight container at room temperature. Makes approximately three cups of icing.
