Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans.

Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people. Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from civet cats to humans and MERS-CoV from dromedary camels to humans. Several known coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans.

Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death.

Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.

There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. However, as a reminder, CDC always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:
#Coronavirus #COVID-19 #CoronavirusinIndia #CoronaVirusAwareness
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask.
CDC does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others. The use of facemasks is also crucial for health workers and people who are taking care of someone in close settings (at home or in a health care facility).
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
The World Health Organisation says the most effective protective measures are the following: cleaning your hands regularly, properly covering your mouth when you cough and social distancing.

Now let's take a look at the WHO's recommendations in greater detail.

WASHING HANDS: While washing hands, use an alcohol-based rub or soap and water to kill the pathogen. Do this frequently.

COVERING COUGHS: Use a tissue, or your bent elbow, to cover your cough -- this keeps virus-infected droplets away from those around you. If you use a tissue, dispose of it quickly and safely.

SOCIAL DISTANCING: Stay at least 1 metre away from people who're coughing or sneezing to avoid inhaling droplets.

AVOID TOUCHING YOUR FACE: If the virus has contaminated your hands after contact with another surface, it can infect you through your eyes, nose or mouth.

IF YOU ARE SICK: Here's a summary of WHO's advice for people living in areas where the coronavirus is spreading, or who've travelled to such places in the past two weeks. First and foremost, follow the hygiene measures above. If you're feeling under the weather, even with mild symptoms such as headache and a slight runny nose, then stay home till you get better. If you have fever, cough and breathing difficulties, go see a doctor. Inform her (or him) about your travel history. Tell her if you've come into contact with other travellers who may be at risk.

???? Coronavirus Health | Strengthen & Boost Your Immune System Against (COVID-19)

????️ ????️ How to boost your immune system against coronavirus. Natural iImmune system booster. How to protect against the coronavirus by boosting your immune system against the cornoavirus.

L-arginine supplement at Amazon-

????????Protecting yourself and family against the coronavirus that is spreading across the globe means more than just following the CDC instructions to avoid people with the corona virus and washing hands thoroughly.

The latest news on the new human coronavirus coming out of China which started in December 2019 reminds us that those who are more likely to be dangerously affected are those who are not healthy enough to withstand a viral invasion.  Statements from the CDC tell us: 1.  Reported illnesses [of the new 2019 coronavirus] have ranged from infected people with mild illness to people being severely ill and dying. - 2. Human corona viruses can sometimes cause lower-respiratory tract illnesses, such as pneumonia or bronchitis. This is more common in people with cardiopulmonary disease, people with weakened immune systems, infants, and older adults.
What you can do on a self-care level to protect yourself & your family against the potentially deadly corona virus that goes beyond the first level tactics recommended by the CDC.

???? Your immune system is designed to protect and defend against millions of invaders such as allergens, bacteria, viruses, and other potentially harmful organisms, collectively known as antigens.

It is necessary to note that the first line of defense against these invaders are the skin & the membranes that line the entrances to the body. These entrances are the nasal passages, the eyes, the respiratory and digestive tracts.

Maintaining a well-balanced diet and keeping a healthy eating habit are your best assurance to keep the immune system functioning properly. The building blocks of all the body's cells, including the cells that power the immune system, are the amino acids found in protein. Protein and amino acids are essential in increasing immune cell proliferation. Plus, a University of Alberta  study shows that one crucial amino acid called, arginine, is required to let the body know that it's being attacked by an infection so that all those good virus fighting cells can react more quickly in a second-line defense against a human coronavirous.

Arginine also increases your blood circulation making it a wise supplement to invest in when it comes to fighting viral infections.  Arginine is readily available on Amazon. You can find a link below this video that will take you directly to the Best Amino Acid Arginine supplement having high reviews on Amazon at

How To Protect Yourself And Your Family From Coronavirus / COVID-19

In early 2020, a new virus began generating headlines all over the world because of the unprecedented speed of its transmission. From its origins in a food market in Wuhan, China, in December 2019 to countries as far-flung as the United-States and the Philippines, the virus has affected hundreds of thousands, with a rising death toll day by day. Follow the guidelines to help protect yourself from catching, carrying and passing on Covid-19 1.Wash your hands frequently and carefully Use water and soap and rub your hands for at least 20-seconds. Work the lather to your wrists, between your fingers, and under your fingernails. You can also use an antibacterial and antiviral-soap. Use hand sanitizer when you cannot wash your hands properly. 2.Avoid touching your face Covid-19 can live on hard surfaces for up to 72-hours. You can get the virus on your hands if you touch a surface like a doorknob, gas-pump handle, or your cell-phone. Avoid touching any part of your face or head including your mouth, nose, and eyes. Also avoid biting your fingernails. This can give virus a chance to go from your hands into your body. 3.Cover your mouth and nose when you cough and sneeze Covid-19 is found in high amounts in the nose and mouth. This means it can be carried by air droplets to other people when you cough or sneeze. It can also land on hard surfaces and stay there for up to 3-days. Use a tissue or sneeze into your elbow to keep your hands as clean as possible. Wash your hands carefully after you sneeze or cough, regardless. 4.Clean and disinfect surfaces Use alcohol-based disinfectants to clean hard surfaces in your home like countertops, door handles, furniture, and toys. Also clean your phone, laptop, and anything else you use regularly several-times a day. Disinfect areas after you bring groceries or packages into your home. Use white-vinegar or hydrogen-peroxide solutions for general cleaning in between disinfecting surfaces. 5.Take social distancing seriously If you are carrying the Covid-19 virus, it will be found in high amounts in your spit (sputum). This can happen even if you do not have symptoms. Social distancing means staying home and working remotely when possible. If you must go out for necessities, keep a distance of 6-feet from other people. You can transmit the virus by speaking to someone in close contact to you. 6.Do not gather in groups Being in a group or gathering makes it more likely that you will be in close contact with someone. This includes avoiding all religious places of worship, as you may have to sit or stand too close to another congregant. It also includes congregating at parks or beaches. 7.Wash fresh groceries Soak all raw, whole fruits and vegetables in a solution of food-grade hydrogen-peroxide or white-vinegar. Let dry before putting them away in your fridge and cupboards. You can also use vegetable antibacterial wash to clean produce. Wash your hands before and after handling fresh-produce.
