What happens with the coronavirus is it affects mainly the lungs and the person can have breathlessness. Many at times the person might not have breathlessness but the lungs can be affected and what we checked are the oxygen saturation using pulse oximeter and the saturation might starts showing a drop in the level. But the person, might not be breathlessness. This is when it is called as 'Happy' hypoxemia. This is when the person is not breathless but his oxygen level in the lungs are dropping very low and anybody with an oxygen saturation less than 92 needs oxygen support needs to be moved to a hospital and needs to be treated for the same. So it is important to keep checking our saturation if we are diagnosed with COVID-19. Please see your treating physician and follow-up with them on this saturation and checking your saturation using the pulse oximeter.

Health benefits of vitamin D
• Is responsible for the intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphorate.

Hadza people living in Tanzania, a country in Africa very close to the equator. They receive plenty of sunshine high in UV-B, with the bare skin. Hence, they've high doses of 25-hydroxy in their blood of around 120 - 130 nmol/L.

However, Institute of Medicine and Endocrine Society in the US recommend 50 x 0.4 = 20 & 70 x .4 = 28 nmol/L respectively.

There is a sweet spot for vitamin D. Sweet spot = 30 ng/mL (75 nmol/L)

Breathing exercises are important as they help in effeciently regulating oxygen throughout the body from the lungs. These exercises can also assist in calming the body during stressful times.

This video demonstrates breathing exercises that can be used if you have contracted Covid-19 and are experiencing respiratory difficulties. Furthermore, these exercises can be used to strengthen the lungs, even if you do not have respiratory difficulties.
