8. Chocolate Croissants:

If there's one thing that can make us jump out of bed first thing in the morning, it's a flaky pastry. And if there's one thing that can rock us to sleep at night, it's a chocolatey dessert. Combine the best of both worlds with a homemade chocolate croissant, or pain au chocolat, as the French call it. Bonjour, indeed!

9. Japanese Milk Bread:

Japanese milk bread is all the rage right now. You've probably seen it on your favorite Instagram influencer's feed and salivated over it. Similar to French brioche, it's delightfully soft, fluffy, and perfect for sandwiches. Whether you're making a simple PB&J or a classic BLT, this bread is the perfect canvas for all your sandwich dreams.

10.–21. Stunning Bread Designs:

There's nothing better than fresh baked bread: from the smell to the appearance to the taste – it's all great! And because nothings beats homemade bread, here are 12 creative ways to spruce up your loaves and step up your bread game.

22. Butternut Squash Rolls:

24.–26. Fun Bread Loaves For Kids:

How many kinds of bread can you name off the top of your head? Most people will probably say white bread and rye bread... and then there will be a long pause while they struggle to think of more. But the great thing about bread is that no matter what kind you decide to make, there's an endless possibility of options when it comes to the presentation, as can be seen with these recipes that will appeal to every age group.

27. French Baguettes:

There are several origin stories of how the baguette came to be, the most adventurous of which claims that the engineer responsible for the Paris metro invented them because they were easy to eat on the go and didn't require a knife. We love anything you can eat with your hands, so we'll get on board with that!

28.–30. Classic, Sweet, And Savory Croissants:

But in the meantime, you can make the delicious buttery pastry yourself — no professional baking skills required. Here you'll find recipes for not only the classic breakfast staple, but also for a sweet and a savory version, both of which make for a perfect afternoon snack.

- 1 savoy cabbage
- 10 oz potatoes
- 4 oz shredded cheese
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 16 fl oz béchamel sauce
- 4-6 lasagna noodles
- 3 oz butter
- 2 oz grated parmesan
- oil for frying
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp ground cumin

Here's How:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and boil a head of savoy cabbage for 10 minutes.

2. Separate the cabbage leaves from the head and remove the stalk in the middle. Cook the lasagna noodles in boiling water for 2 minutes. Peel the potatoes, boil them for 10-12 minutes, and slice them.

3. Brown the ground beef and season with garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.

4. Arrange the cabbage leaves in a springform pan so that they hang over the edge and lay down the first layer of potato slices.

5. Continue layering in the following order: shredded cheese, ground beef, ripped cabbage leaves, and a generous helping of béchamel sauce.

6. Finish with a layer of lasagna noodles on top. Then repeat the entire process and add another layer of everything in the same order.

7. Finally, place 1-2 savoy cabbage leaves on top and fold in the hanging leaves. Place the butter pats on the cabbage leaves and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven, pour more béchamel sauce on top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake at the same temperature for another 20 minutes.

Now if that's not a delicious alternative to classic lasagna, then we don't know what is! The combination of savoy cabbage, béchamel sauce, and ground beef is simply divine.

- ⅓ cup olive oil

- 4 oz shredded cheddar
- 1 bunch of scallions, sliced
- 1 green chili pepper, sliced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 tbsp cilantro

Extra:

- 10.5 or 12 cast iron skillet

Here's How:

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Core the bell peppers and cut them into strips. Peel the onions and cut them into strips, as well as the chicken breasts. Put everything in a bowl, add paprika, salt, cayenne pepper, cumin, and olive oil and mix well.

2. Pour the marinated chicken and vegetables into a casserole dish and cook for 15 minutes.

3. Brush a cast iron skillet with olive oil and line it with 6 tortillas, as shown in the video. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and monterey jack cheese over the tortilla in the middle of the pan.

4. Spread the cooked chicken fajitas over the cheese.

5. Add the diced tomatoes, scallions, chili pepper, and cilantro and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

6. Place the last tortilla on top and fold the overlapping tortillas towards the middle of the pan. Put the skillet in the oven and cook at 350°F for 40 minutes.

PRINTABLE RECIPE: ????️ ????️

????????????????????????????????????

✅Ingredients

• 1 pound sweet Italian sausage
• 1 pound lean ground beef
• 1 large white onion, minced
• 5 cloves garlic, crushed
• 1 (28 ounce can) crushed tomatoes
• 2 (6 ounce can) tomato paste
• 1 (15 oz can) tomato sauce
• 1/2 cup chicken broth
• 2 tablespoons white sugar
• 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
• 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
• 1 teaspoon ground oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (divided)
• 1 pound lasagna noodles
• 30 ounces ricotta cheese
• 1 large egg
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1 pound deli sliced mozzarella cheese
• 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

✅Instructions

00:03:17 - Why it's important to simmer bolognese sauce for lasagna
00:03:57 - A hack to prepare lasagna noodles without boiling
00:07:42 - How to make and store lasagna ahead of time

1️⃣ 00:00:23 - In a large pot over medium heat, add in ground sausage and ground beef. Use a spoon to break up the meat into small pieces. Add in onion and garlic and cook until meat is well browned, stirring constantly. Stir in sugar, fresh basil, fennel, oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper, and 1/4 cup chopped parsley. Pour in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and chicken broth. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer 1-4 hours, stirring occasionally.

2️⃣ 00:03:57 - Meanwhile, place lasagna noodles into the bottom of a pan. Pour hot tap water directly over the noodles, making sure the pasta is completely immersed in the water. Let them soak for 30 minutes, then drain and discard water.

3️⃣ 00:04:51 - In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese with egg, remaining 2 tablespoons parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and nutmeg. Refrigerate until ready to assemble lasagna.

4️⃣ Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease a deep 9x13 pan.

5️⃣ 00:05:21 - To assemble, spread about 1 cup of meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared pan. Place 4 noodles on top. Spread with 1/3 of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with 1/4 of mozzarella cheese slices. Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat sauce over mozzarella, then sprinkle with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Repeat layering two more times to create three complete layers. To finish, place a final layer of pasta, topped with another 1 cup of meat sauce to cover the pasta. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover loosely with aluminum foil.

6️⃣ 00:07:24 - Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake an additional 25 minutes to allow cheese to brown. Serve hot.
