Travelling to Mumbai during Lockdown | Domestic Flights in India During Lockdown | Airport New rules

Taking a domestic flight? Here are answers to some questions you might have. New air travel guidelines for domestic passengers during lockdown || Airport New rules

State wise quarantine regulation PDF :

/data/user/0/ wise quarantine regulation - Customer Support Guide v9.docx

India Domestic Flights Resume: Is a laptop bag allowed? For how long can you stay at the airport? Who will tag your baggage? What if you feel hungry?

With domestic commercial flights resuming from Monday after being grounded for almost two months due to the Covid-19 lockdown, there are various restrictions in terms of baggage, arrival time, security check requirements, transport to airport and check-in facilities.

The government has issued a price cap and a floor to keep the fares under control, given that there will be a surge in demand that, if left to market forces, could cause fares to skyrocket.

Here is what you may have to do, take care of, and be prepared to go through as you embark on a flight.

1. A new flight structure will be introduced for 3 months until August 24th 11.59pm. Domestic flights will resume from 25 May, 2020

2. The new flight structure will be regulated by the government for the 3 months

3. The focus will be on affordable air travel based on timing and air routes

4. The cap on air fares has been decided in seven categories. Flight operations will restart from major Indian airports, including ones located in tier one cities

5. 40% of seats will be sold at less than average price

6. The minimum fare from Delhi-Mumbai will be Rs 3,500 & the maximum Rs 10,000

7. Middle seats of the airplane will not be kept empty. Air planes will run at full capacity. As per airport authorities keeping the middle seat empty does not solve the purpose.

8. Airports & Airplanes will implement other measures to ensure protection against COVID-19 like disinfection of flight, thermal screening, airport staff & flight crew wearing masks and sanitising etc

9. Passengers will have to do mandatory web check-in, and carry a print out of their boarding pass. Masks & sanitisers will also be mandatory for all passengers.

10. Air travellers must maintain a distance of four feet from co-passenger

11. All passengers will have to compulsorily have the Aarogya Sethu app installed. Anyone showing red on the app will not be allowed to fly.

12. Only one check-in bag will be allowed per passenger.

13. Passengers will have to report 2 hours before departure as per new domestic guidelines.

14. Flight routes have been classified into 7 – 1) Flight time less than 40 minutes, 2) 40 – 60 minutes, 3) 60 – 90 minutes, 4) 90 – 120 minutes, 5) 120 – 150 minutes, 6) 150 – 180 mins, 7) 180 – 210 mins.

Dos & Don’ts To Be Kept In Mind By Travellers
Passengers are requested to maintain social distancing and avoid touching surrounding from the point of origin till the airport. Registering on the Aarogya Setu app is also necessary. So here’s what you need to keep in mind while travelling.

When Travelling To The Airport
Registration on Aarogya Setu app and self-declaration is compulsory.
It’s advised that passengers use digital mode of payment and used authorised taxis.
Only one cabin bag and one check-in bag is permitted
Elderly people, vulnerable people and pregnant women are advised to avoid travelling.
Obtain boarding pass and ensure web check-in
Passengers must download the baggage tag/baggage identification number, print it and fix it on the bag at a prominent place.
In case baggage tag is not printable, PNR number and the name of the passenger must be displayed prominently on the bag
Wearing a mask is compulsory.
Passengers must arrive at the airport at least a couple of hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.
Status of health must be updated on the Aarogya Setu app.
Apart from these guidelines, the ministry has also prompted passengers to not reach late. Those living in coronavirus containment zones or who have tested positive for the deadly virus must avoid travelling. The airlines will issue a boarding pass after the passengers have declared that they don’t live in a containment zone and are not showing any symptoms as part of the self-declaration. Passengers must update their health on the Aarogya Setu app and show it to the staff at the entry gate.

Protection measures to keep Coronavirus infection at bay - Dr. Surekha Tiwari | Doctors' Circle

For any infection to enter your body, affect you and produce symptoms, you need to have two things, first the infection should be virulent and second your immunity should be compromised, everybody who is walking the roads these days is not affected by virus. But you do realize that small children, older people, people who are just recovering from any old sickness are more prone to these disorders. It is basically because their immunity is compromised and also all viral infections are spread through body discharge. If a person sneezes in front of you or coughs in front of you, the water droplets which flow out, they are the ones which carry infection. Hygienic measures at any time, every time most welcome and most important. Sanitizer is one of them and washing your hands with soap and water is another. Wearing a mask when you go to a very crowded area is again the same picture, sanitizers help in immediate prevention of spread.

Protection from Coronavirus| What if you are infected?-Dr. Ashoojit Kaur Anand| Doctors' Circle

Dr. Ashoojit Kaur Anand | Appointment booking number: 89715 44066
General Physician & Community Medicine Specialist | PCMH Restore Health, Bangalore
There are a lot of things going around and people are getting panicky because there are lot of message being shared saying “Do this”, “ Do that”, but you need to maintain your hygiene that is wash your hands with soap and water, the most efficient one. If you don’t have access to soap and water, please use a sanitiser to clean your hands before you touch your face or even you do any other work. So that is the best way to protect yourself. There is no need to wear mask for those who do not have any infection. Masks are to be worn by people who have a cough and cold or a fever where they think t hat the might infect others. So they need to wear the masks and what do you do is the best way is to self isolate that is remain within the house. Remain within the house so that you don’t spread the infection to others because this could also be an influenza but it spreads when you talk to a person or cough or sneeze. So the test is to remain within your house, drink lots of fluids and eat healthy food, lot of fruits and vegetables whatever is accessible and remain healthy. T hat is the best way to protect yourself and if you still think you need help, please talk to your family doctor and get information on it, but please do not panic and do not run to a hospital because that would expose you to more infection than just being at home.

Symptoms of coronavirus. Is this recent outbreak of great concern? - Dr. Ashoojit Kaur Anand

Dr. Ashoojit Kaur Anand | Appointment booking number: 89715 44066
General Physician & Community Medicine Specialist | PCMH Restore Health, Bangalore
The origin was in China in 2019 when the coronavirus was first identified, as the N- coronavirus, that is the novel coronavirus, that was identified in China in Wuhan City . Usually coronavirus is a Zoonotic animals, which means it is found n animals usually and not in humans, the transmission takes place with humans when they are in direct contact with animals. There are different types of coronaviruses that have been identified in humans, that is the coronavirus called as the SARS coronavirus, which is the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome caused by the virus in the year 2003 in China. This is transmitted from the civet cat to the humans. In 2012 the second coronavirus was identified in humans in Saudi Arabia and this was transmitted from camel to humans. So the novel coronavirus identified in 2019 in December, has still not been identified as which is the animal causing transmission. So transmission happens only when somebody is handling these animals or is handling the meat of the animals infected with virus and humans consuming food like the animal product infected with coronavirus and when it transmitted to humans it gets transmitted to people who are in close contact , that is the family members, or the health care workers who are taking care of the sick person. So these people who are at risk of getting infection. How do you manage these patients? Usually the coronavirus infection does not have a definite treatment. There is no medicine available as of now so it has to be symptom management or supportive care of person who has been affected with coronavirus . Also prevention is part of the treatment, you have to prevent yourself from getting with coronavirus. People who are probe to get infection should wash their hands properly, with soap and water and do not have close contact with people who have a cough and cold, do not have a close contact. Shaking hands or giving a hug. So maintaining distance of at least 3 feet from a person who is infected with the virus or supposedly may be having an infections could be kept at a distance and also food should be cooked properly, especially the animal products should be cooked propellers before it s consumed there are no vaccines available but the medicines and vaccines are still under study and there are research and developments going on for these vaccines and treatment but as of now there is only prevention. If you have a doubt if someone is having a cough or cold they should see a family physician but it is not that for a simple cough an old do not run to a hospital or a doctor. Just refrain yourself from moving out so that you do not spread the infection and also it gives you proper rest. Take lots of fluids, nutritious food, lots of fruits which will help you to get better faster. In case you develop a shortness of breath or any other distress, please reach out to the doctor.

Chemotherapy for cancer during Coronavirus outbreak: Should I or not? - Dr. Sandeep Nayak

Dr. Sandeep Nayak | Appointment booking number: 9482202240
Consultant Robotic and Laparoscopic Cancer Surgeon,
MACS Clinic & Director, Fortis Cancer Institute, Bangalore
MACS Clinic, TRIMACS HEALTHCARE Jayanagar, Bengaluru
Many care patients are on chemotherapy and it is an essential part of the treatment. Chemotherapy is well known to reduce the immunity of the patient. Reduced immunity is a risk for infection and subsequent complications. With an outbreak of Coronavirus, the risk of Coronavirus infection also increases with Chemotherapy . There have been many measures being taken by institutions and associations across the world to see how they can mitigate or change this scenario. However there is no perfect answer. Answers have to be got as they go on. Now many of the Chemotherapy which are for the fresh patients who have completed their surgeries and are going for Chemotherapy, which is called as Adjuvant Chemotherapy, can slightly be delayed. It can be delayed upto 8 weeks. It is perfectly safe to delay upto that limit, there are other categories of patients who are getting Chemotherapy to reduce the size of the tumor what is called as Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy, where a delay of few days is acceptable on a routine basis. This is an extraordinary situation. I think you should allow your medical oncologist to decide on whether it is possible to delay by a few more days or a few more weeks, in order to avoid a serious infection . There are also situations called as Palliative Chemotherapy, where the Chemotherapy is given only to reduce the symptoms of the disease. In those circumstance s it may not be an ideal situation to go for Chemotherapy. It s better to look at alternative source of symptom management till the situation improves. Again it all depends on what your treating doctor tells you to do rather than dictum to be given from somebody else. So please listen to your doctor and follow what is being told to you.

What is Coronavirus? How worried I should be? - Dr. Shalini Chandan | Doctors' Circle

Coronaviruses are the large family of viruses that typically affects the respiratory system and cause illnesses ranging from common cold to severe diseases like MERS, SARS and Novel Coronavirus. Most of the Coronaviruses infect animals like bats , cats and birds. Only 7 are known to causes infection in humans. 2019 Novel Coronavius is first identified in Wuhan city if China. This is a new virus which was not identified earlier. It was initially believed that this virus was transmitted from animals to human and later again identified that it can transmit from humans to humans. In India so far 3 cases are identified with COROnavirus. There is no need to be worried or panick unless you have travelled recently to China or you have been in touch with someone who has been diagnosed with coronavirus.

Prevention of Coronavirus in the right way | Masks & Personal Cleanliness - Dr. Ashoojit Kaur Anand

Dr. Ashoojit Kaur Anand | Appointment booking number: 89715 44066
General Physician & Community Medicine Specialist | PCMH Restore Health, Bangalore
The Prevention of Coronavirus is by various methods. there is a standard hygiene measures that are followed and the CDC or the WHO do not recommend wearing just masks and masks do not prevent transmissions of infection of coronavirus, the other ways of preventing is by maintaining hygiene with soap and water and with alcohol based hand sanitizers. Do not have close contact with people who have known to have Coronavirus infection or those who have cough or a cold and avoid touching objects unless and until it is required. The virus can be on a handle, on a table. So do not touch objects and then touch your face, your eyes your mouth because that is the way how the virus is transmitted from an object to a human and the other things are about marinating your hydration by drinking enough fluids and eating lots of fruits and vegetables so that it provides you adequate immunity to fight the infection. Then the other ways of preventing is by reaching out to your physician if you have a cough and cold and fever and taking adequate measures so that you get better faster. Restrict the movement if you have a fever or a cough or a cold and if somebody has a cough or a cold, you should not cough or sneeze in to your hands, but it should be into a kerchief, a tissue is better preferred. Once you sneeze into a tissue paper, throw into a dustbin. Do not throw it on road, , do not spit on the road or anywhere outside. When you cough or sneeze, sneeze into your elbows because that way you do not transmit infection to the hands and then transmit to other people by touching objects or shaking hand with people. So that is how to prevent transmission rather than wearing masks because that is not recommend. What happens when you wear masks is you have a false security that you are safe and you do not follow the other measures of prevention. So if you suspect that somebody has been coughing in our house, or somebody in close contact and if you develop a cough, cold or fever, please see your family physician immediately.

Transforming Loneliness - Guided Meditation (Coronavirus)

Living in these times of Coronavirus (covid-19), where millions if not more than a billion people are staying home, this can bring up feelings of loneliness. How do we deal with those feelings? How do we transform them into self realisation? Let's meditate on loneliness while we abide in pure awareness.

Poem read at beginning by Brian Patten

You ask for a poem.
I offer you a blade of grass.
You say it is not good enough.
You ask for a poem.

I say this blade of grass will do.
It has dressed itself in frost,
It is more immediate
Than any image of my making.

You say it is not a poem,
It is a blade of grass and grass
Is not quite good enough.
I offer you a blade of grass.

You are indignant.
You say it is too easy to offer grass.
It is absurd.
Anyone can offer a blade of grass.

You ask for a poem.
And so I write you a tragedy about
How a blade of grass
Becomes more and more difficult to offer,

And about how as you grow older
A blade of grass
Becomes more difficult to accept.

Christian Fanli is currently a monastic practice at the Zen Center in SF. They have lived in several countries including the US and China. After spending their childhood moving from place to place and living amongst children in difficult situations, they noticed early on how people handle suffering differently. This stuck with them through their adulthood to see if it was possible to transcend suffering. First using his career and insatiable desire for knowledge and success, he then learned directly that it did and would not end their or other’s suffering. They then began living as a renunciate changing his lifestyle drastically to try to understand their relation to consumption and quenching their endless desires. They noticed directly that desires can be completely extinguished and that one can be completely content regardless of what their situation is by training their mind. They currently practice and study across a broad range of secular and non-secular traditions including Zen, Buddhism, ISKCON, Secular Spirituality, Hinduism, Jainism, Judaism, Chan, Christian mysticism and art in search for “calling off the search”.

Without Division is the name of the podcast and represents a question that we should all ask ourselves. Can we live without division within ourselves? Can we transcend binaries and getting caught up in differences that only exist in form and name. The podcast is dedicated to topics about the nature of mind, methods of contemplation, and traveling the spiritual path.
